They were never supposed to mix. She was the popular girl while he was just the school enigma. Her father would never accept a boy with such low aspirations to be her partner in life; which is why it shouldn't have come as a surprise when Aerys Targaryen came between the relationship of Jon Snow and his daughter, Daenerys.
Years later, when Daenerys returns to King's Landing with an unhappy engagement, she makes it her priority to let loose and enjoy the last few weeks of freedom before she's married. However, unfortunate circumstances occur and she's left with a damaged vehicle and without lodging. Not to mention that the man that has to fix her car ends up being the first and only boy she's ever loved. However, love doesn't exist. It isn't real. So why does it hurt when he treats her as nothing more than a regular customer?
Out of an unexpected kindness, Jon offers her lodging in the guest bedroom in his home. As an engaged woman, she knows she should refuse. And she's left regretting accepting his offer when she sees that he lives in the house of her dreams. The house they both said they would live in with their family all those years later.

Summary
Jon Snow is 19 and just finished his first year year of university. He's renting a 2 bedroom apartment, and one of the bedrooms is meant for his family should they ever decide to visit.
Dany is 18 and starting her first year of University, the same one that Jon is attending. Normally first years are required to live on campus, unless they already have family living in the same city. Dany convinces Rhaegar That living with Jon will save money on housing. Rhaegar agrees, not knowing about Dany’s ulterior motives...or at least not stopping them.
Jon has no problem with it, agreeing that it’s smarter because it is cost effective. Besides, him and Dany have always been close…but Dany wants them to be a lot closer than he’s comfortable with.

That he would train him for the day that Jaehaerys, or Jon Snow to the world, would return to reclaim the iron throne. Jon has the Golden Company pledged to his cause though he's been unaware as to why they follow him so loyally.
Viserys plans to sell his sister for an army to reclaim what he believes is his birthright. Khal Drogo seems the most viable option, but Viserys can't seem to help and think the The Golden Company, led by a northern bastard, is a much more attractive option.
