Touya blinked in confusion. The man saw this, and sighed irritably. “Well? Pick them up bitch.” The word was spat out with venom and mocking amusement, which made Touya wince back a bit. He was used to the streets of Vivid Street. He was familiar with the other people who’d wander and sing.
And they were nothing like this.
Touya sighed. He just wanted to get this over with, so he stepped around the man to pick up his keys.
And that was the biggest mistake he’d ever make.
