“Hey Mumei” Kronii whispered her name. Found herself almost addicted to the way Mumei hummed in response automatically. The sound was too warm, as if it held something deep within that neither could speak aloud. Found herself growing addicted to how Mumei always seemed to want to touch her in some way, how when she pulled her head away ever so slightly, Kronii was met with eyes that reminded her of prized amber.

The Double Life event ends and the players are returned to their original homes as they always are after the games conclusions, reeling and shakily picking up the pieces of themselves after the experience. Back in the Double life server, inside of the ever looming inpenetrable dome, a red-hooded figure remains.Aka: Pearl somehow remains alive in the Double Life server even after Scott has died. It is up to Grian, Scott, and a few other volunteering hermits to go back to the place of their nightmares to rescure her. But who they find is not the same person they left.

When Gura woke up in the early morning, sand in her pants and tiredness like a warm coat around her, Kronii would be gone. She would stumble into her hut, stare at the coziness of it; dried kelp and seaweed strung on the walls with some fish, bits of coral, bone, and shells on sinew. The little mound of leaves and stitched together furs that was her bed. She would curl up there, and would try to fall back asleep, convincing herself Kronii would return.
She'd like to think they were friends.

Summary
The first time she comes barreling into the house like the devil’s on her heels, he’s on his feet with his gun in hand at once, stepping between her and the door, sure an intruder is about to burst through after her. He readies himself for a fight, already planning how to get an attacker out of the house and away from Ellie.
And then he hears her laughing.
He turns to see her, panting and sweaty, laid out on the floor like she’s a rug, her face practically glowing with the force of her smile. She lifts both hands to the air in fists and cheers.
“What are you doing,” he asks, but the question comes out flat in light of his confusion. He gives the door one more look, but no intruder is imminent, and he holsters his gun, going to one knee beside Ellie, still on her back, breathing hard.
“I beat it!” She says, clearly proud about whatever the hell she’s talking about.
“Beat what?” He asks.
“Curfew!” She nearly crows.
He blinks.
It’s possible they’ve had a misunderstanding about what exactly a curfew is.
(some sweet settling in together fluff with just a smidge of feels for flavor)
