Tubbo’s smile faltered a bit before it returned full force. “What do you mean, Phil?” The boy asked, feigning ignorance. He had to fool them that he didn’t know about Tommy’s abilities or Tommy’s whereabouts. He had to turn them away. He couldn’t let them get involved. He knew that was not what Tommy would want. “Secret identity?” Tubbo laughed. “I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have a secret identity unless you’re talking about Theseus?”
Phil sighed as he heard Tubbo make up a story to go along with this “Theseus” that Tommy seemed to play. Phil glanced over at his two sons, seeing that Wilbur and Techno weren’t convinced either. “Mate,” Phil began. “We saw Tommy in his outfit and he used his lightning. We know who he is.” Phil waved towards the door.
Tubbo froze in the middle of his explanation, his easy-going smile falling away only to be replaced with a glare. “Okay, fine. You caught me. I know all about him. And I’m not telling you where he is. I’m trying to protect him.” Tubbo said angrily.
“Protect him?! We’re his family! What does he need protecting from?” Wilbur asked desperately.
“You?”
