Summary
Prince Chrom wants nothing more than to protect his homeland from invaders, and created the Shepards for this purpose. During a scouting mission in the countryside, they discover a woman lying in the field named Robin. While she claims to be an amnesiac, he trusts her and allows her in the Shepards as his chief tactican. During the war against King Gangrel of Plegia, the two turn the small faction of comrades into the top army of Ylisse. However, Robin's possible past comes to light, and some question her alliance. Chrom fights off these rumours, and Gangrel is defeated. Chrom marries Robin and two live happily ever after. For now.
Eventually, another war ensues. Not just with neighboring nations, but also with those of Robin's past. It is then that Robin must decide the fate of her and Chrom.

Summary
The world needs heroes.
Reinhardt Wilhelm is very much aware of that fact. He can't exactly do a ton on his own (and he's very much aware of that, too), but with his friend and traveling companion Brigitte by his side, he most certainly intends to try.
Halfway across the world, a bounty hunter who now answers only to Shrike has realized it, too. She and her partner, an old friend from younger days, do what they can to sabotage evil here and there, but it isn't enough. It's never enough.
Both have realized that in order to beat back the evil that's begun to ensnare the world, they're going to need a lot more help. Fortunately, they're not the only ones who are still willing to fight.

Alternate description: the author couldn't find enough Anahardt content online, and... well. She figured that if she'd wanted an Anahardt-centric fanfic, she'd have to write it herself. So this happened.
