Look, Damian is willing to admit this might be his fault. Just the smallest bit. This, of course, being the fact that he and Anna are currently in the back of a van, tied up, blindfolded, and gagged. None of which, he might add, would be the cause of any issues, were it not for the two men holding them at gunpoint for extra measure.
In his defense, his plan to stage an intervention to root out Anna’s ulterior motives hadn’t included actually getting kidnapped.
Or, Damian and Annabeth get kidnapped together. It goes... about as well as you'd expect.

Summary
Percy is pretty used to everything that happens around him. Crazy monster wants to hunt him down and skin him? Sure, why not? Everyone needs a hobby. The Gods debating whether or not he deserves to live? Average Monday. He's found the mundane in the insanity that surrounds him.
Of course, this just serves to give his uncle and cousins from Gotham a heart attack everytime he opens his mouth. They were used to magic and aliens and evil scientists but demigods? This was new to them and Percy didn't seem all that keen on easing them into it.

Summary
Jason recognizes the kid on the news, he realizes, when he idly glances up from his book to the TV playing silently in front of him.
That’s not unusual, per say.
Kids from Crime Alley, from the Narrows? They make the news all the time, and he knows, or knew, a lot of ‘em. They’re always warnings, tragic and broken, and even if they don’t use the kids’ names, he can usually recognize the faces the headlines are paired with.
They aren't usually being labeled as "domestic terrorists" on national television, though. But maybe Percy Jackson's just always been an outlier. Jason remembers he was a pretty weird kid, from the very few times they met.

Summary
Coming back to Gotham was a spur of the moment decision for Jason, fueled only by the fondness his heart still held for the city. A fondness that stemmed from what he had once considered his family.
If he was honest, he really only came back for Annie. However, after spending a few days in Gotham, Jason comes to find out that his little sister disappeared two years after his death.
_____________________________________________________________Coming back to Gotham was a spur of the moment decision for Dick, fueled only by the grief caused by losing his two younger siblings in the span of two years. It was more self resentment than grief, but his point still stands.
After finding out that Jason's alive and is looking for their youngest, Dick convinces him to let him join. And, if he gained his little brother back in the process, who was he to complain?
