“I mean, obviously I’m gonna do it. I always do it. But I probably need a photo or reference, and my…” Will trails off and sighs, gaze landing on the dusty box sitting on top of his desk. “I could help you,” Mike interrupts.
And there it is. This is why Will should stop complaining out loud.

Summary
“What are you doing here?”
Buck stilled and hid in the hallway, pressing up against the wall so neither could spot him eavesdropping.
“Excuse me?” Tommy replied.
Buck heard Eddie chuckle to himself bitterly. “What are you doing here, Tommy?”
“I was looking after Evan,” Tommy said, his tone screaming ‘isn’t it obvious?’ to Eddie.
A quiet laugh echoed in the silent house, and Buck shivered when he realised it was Eddie. Laughing very, very coldly.
That’s when the bullets started to fly out of Eddie.
Or; Eddie shows up on Buck's doorstep after finding out about Bobby's death. When Tommy seems too close for comfort, Eddie decides to tell him what he really thinks of him. Buck hears the entire thing.

Summary
“It’s Eddie.” At her expectant look, he scoffs. “Taylor. Even you have to admit. He’s great. He’s funny, he’s a handsome firefighter, and most normal people would find what a wonderful dad he is attractive. He sent me a photo of the sweater he was going to wear tonight, and he looks really hot!” Buck wags his finger. “Claudia is missing out, I’m telling you.”
Taylor doesn’t reply for a long moment, long enough that Buck starts to worry.
“What?” he asks.
“Nothing,” she says, in a way that doesn’t sound like nothing.
Buck tries to set up Eddie. It goes well for absolutely no-one involved. (a 5+1 fic)
