Summary
Kiba's shout broke the silence, "No, Akamaru!" But it was too late. The dog had lunged at Naruto in an attempt to get his attention, inadvertently causing Naruto to stumble toward Sasuke. Naruto could have easily corrected his course, but he chose not to. He wanted to fall into Sasuke's arms. Sasuke, too, remained still, even leaning in slightly to ensure the full impact of their collision. The moment happened so quickly that their lips met.
Both Naruto and Sasuke were wide-eyed, stunned by the unexpected intimacy. After a moment, Naruto began to pull away, but Sasuke was quicker. Gripping the fabric of Naruto's jacket, he held him in place. Sasuke then closed his eyes and deepened the kiss, pulling Naruto closer.
Caught off guard but eager to reciprocate, Naruto wrapped his arm around Sasuke's waist and returned the kiss with equal fervor. When they finally broke apart, both were breathless. Naruto leaned into the crook of Sasuke's neck and whispered, "Why does it always have to be you, Teme?"
Sasuke could hear the smile in Naruto's voice and found himself grinning in response. He planted a quick peck on Naruto's cheek and murmured, "Hn, maybe because you keep throwing yourself at me, Usuratonkachi."

Summary
Sasuke moves to the countryside to get the quiet and inspiration he needs for his writing. It ends up bringing him so much more when his bright eyed neighbour walks into his life — or garden — and makes him a part of the small countryside community. More slowly, Naruto learns to share another part of his life as well, one he had been ready to push away forever.

“Don’t you want to eat them?” Naruto asks, even though he knows Sasuke hates sweet things and hates Valentine’s Day almost as much as he loves calling Naruto stupid.
“You know I hate them,” says Sasuke.
“The people or the sweets?” says Naruto, “You don’t even know what’s in the box,”
“Do you want to eat them?” Sasuke raises a brow at him. “I can take the gifts, reject them, then give you the chocolate if you want,”
Naruto flushes. The thought of Sasuke giving him gifts laced with intent Sasuke doesn’t mean makes his stomach hurt and his chest constrict. It’s never going to happen, he tells himself, get it through your stupid head. “N-no,”

It's Valentines Day. Naruto tries to gather up the courage to give Sasuke chocolate. He doesn't think Sasuke will accept, and being rejected in front of the whole school isn't something his heart can take.
