Bob watched Bucky’s hands closely. The left one flexed and twitched almost unconsciously – the metal plates caught the light from the lamp above and sent a dull reflection in every direction – but the right hand was still, gripping the arm of the chair as if it was the only thing keeping him grounded. Bob hesitated at the doorway. He wasn’t always good at reading people, at reading silences, at figuring out tone, but even he could tell the energy in the room was dangerous. After a few minutes of too-tense silence, he decided to throw caution to the wind and try anyway, “Hey, uh…is everyone good? That was…messy.”
“We are fine,” Yelena said shortly, not even looking up as she reassembled her gun in smoother motions than Bob could tie his shoes. “Walker was just dramatic.”
“Was not.”
“Was too.”

Summary
He let his hands guide the pen in shaky lines across the paper, etching a scribble that looked vaguely like his name in a few spots. He didn’t really know what he was agreeing to do, just knew that he was getting drugs out of it, something meant to improve his body and make him better. The guy who found him shivering in the street was pretty vague, like he knew he just had to say the right few words to get Bob to follow him like a lost puppy.

“Very well, but this request for help is off the record. Project SENTRY is the main rumour going around about Valentina.”
Mr Gary paused, deliberating his next words.
“It was a project to create a superhuman, one even more powerful than you or Steve Rogers. It’s power was said to measure up to ten times of the sun. The problem is that its serum and methods have been declared illegal and dangerous. The last test left all its volunteers dead. The worst part, they all showed signs of instability before succumbing. If this project succeeded… Valentina won't just have an overpowered superhero on her hands, but also one she can’t fully control.”
Bucky rarely felt feared but this sent a pierce through his heart. Another Winter Soldier? No, worst. A version with the power of a god.
OR
In another universe, Project SENTRY succeeded and Bob spent the last few years being tortured and trained into OXE’s superhero. Cue Bucky to rescue the Thunderbolts and force all of them to work together with him to rescue/kill the SENTRY. Instead they find a traumatised Bob and rehabilitate him. And maybe on the way they become a family.
