Summary
Months have passed since the Fire Nation attacked her tribe. During this invasion, Kya sacrifices herself to protect Katara. After this event, Katara is consumed by guilt over her mother’s death. Tormented by those feelings, she decides to travel to the Northern Water Tribe in search of a teacher to learn waterbending. During her journey, she encounters a Fire Nation ship, and on board she meets Iroh and Zuko. Given her situation, they offer her refuge in the Fire Nation, where they care for her until she is old enough to travel on her own. Will Katara be able to live alongside the nation that ordered her mother’s death? Will she be able to forgive them, or will she decide to destroy the Fire Nation from within?

Summary
In their quest for revenge against Yon Rha, Katara and Zuko are attacked by a mysterious sea spirit and swept away into the Spirit World. After wandering for hours through unfamiliar landscapes, they fall into a lake that carries them back to the ocean. Upon reaching the shore, they discover an impossible reality: they were no longer in the Four Nations but in an unknown world, far from their homes. Without knowing how or why they got there, they must survive in a society filled with heroes, villains, and quirks while searching for a way to return home.
