Summary
Zim is entirely unfamiliar with even the concept of a soulmate prior to Earth. As understanding slowly dawns on him, so does the pettiness of humanity. Their desires are primitive, and their rituals of courtship needlessly complex and distasteful. Zim has no need to understand it. Irkens do not have soulmates.
. . . As it turns out, this is not the case for Zim.

Summary
An estrange sibling returns home. An absent father begins to turn his expectations to the second. Home doesn't look the way it once did, and one is doing their best to change where home is altogether.
Gaz has always known that being the scariest thing in the room is the best way to protect yourself, and the only way to protect the things you care about. Each of them has the potential to do awful things. Not everyone succeeds. Some will, in ways that will ripple consequences for the rest of their lives. However short that may be.
