Jiang Cheng punctuated every word with an aggressive chop of his cleaver, reducing diced veggies into way tinier pieces needed for stir fry. Wei Wuxian offered to take over knife duty but he also valued his fingers more than a little tantrum from his brother. He was glad they were the only ones in their crappy dorm community kitchen, but who would stay when there was a pissy man with a giant ass knife cutting carrots like they killed his family.
Nie Huaisang goes through a bad breakup. Tears were shed and feelings were felt. Jiang Cheng goes through a lot of emotions.
