Summary
Sheriff Thompson (as well as Prince Mathew and Detective Gold) managed to get stuck in America a little longer than intended. While waiting for another chance to leave, Thompson's old friend asks for a favor, one that involves apprehending a pair of train bandits. It takes a bit of bargaining, but Thompson figures he can do this last job for his barkeep, especially since the detective from London seems all too happy to tag along so Thompson isn't on his own this time.

Summary
After Edward saves Prince Matthew and Royalty Reader from the bandits he realizes he loves them. It's a realization that hits him one night on the ship as he watches the two of you playfully bicker. He's fallen hard and yet. There's nothing he can do. How could either of you love him when he's just a lowly detective?
He was fine with yearning from a far. Until things in England started going downhill. Now he'll do anything to protect the two of you, including teaming up with the infamous Red and Blue bandits.
