Summary
"You seem to have quite the mouth on you.” Richard ran his thumb along the violinist’s bottom lip. “Maybe I could help you remedy that.”
Richard released him and took a few steps away, as if he was never there. “Come find me when you get a break and maybe we can… talk.”
As he walked away, he heard the young woman whisper, “Fucking hell, Gavin.”
Hm. Gavin. He liked that name.

Summary
Gavin Reed has a track-record for bad relationships. And his current relationship with soon to be Captain Allen is as abusive as it comes. He tries to escape that with the help of Hank Anderson while also dealing with a new partner, Richard Nines, who absolutely has a stick so far up his ass, Gavin isn't sure it can ever be pulled out.
Richard Nines has moved to Detroit with his twin brother, Connor, both stationed at the DPD and both with new, challenging partners. Nines thinks this move will get him the life he seeks. The problem with that is that Nines absolutely hates Reed, and doesn't think they're going to work out.

Summary
It starts with a simple wish, to see her face to face on the battlefield. And yet, it turns into so much more than he could have expected. He could no longer deny it. He was hopelessly in love with her.
[There was no way that she, personally witnessing the crimes his country had committed against hers, would ever love him back.]
Or, a retelling of the events through Diamant's perspective.

Summary
Diamant spent most of his life unfeeling, doing what he thought had to be done rather than having a drive, to do it per se. Yes, he was just a kid, but he still didn't have the urge to do anything he wasn't told to. But that was just the way things worked in the world. If he was blunt, he felt lost most of the time. His father often smiled at him, telling him that he'll find himself when he meets the person who has the other half of his soul. His soulmate. That the world would brighten up, and he'll finally have the desire to do things. Want to do them. That he'll be the happiest he's ever been. Diamant didn't know if he believed his Father, though.
