It's 1920 and Adaine Abernant and Fabian Aramais Seacaster have experienced success in running their speakeasy, the Bad Kids. Popular musical duo Figueroth Faeth and Gorgug Thistlespring perform there almost every night and the bartender, Kristen Applebees serves drinks so good they say they restore your HP. A favorite costumer takes the form of goblin PI, Riz Gukgak.One night, Riz comes with a new case that seems to be linked with the speakeasy's supply chain problem. As more information is unearthed, the case grows in size and soon the gang realizes this might be a fight for the whole city, not just the speakeasy.
