Summary
Two things in the known galaxy still existed that Kylo and Rey will eventually navigate together. There is a species that exists in the Unknown Territories that is still not aware that life exists outside of their own star system and are very primitive, however, this species is apparently very Force sensitive. The First Order finds out about this species that is isolated from the knowledge of any other life forms, other than themselves, but since they are Force sensitive, they want to begin training this species to work for the First Order's purposes. On top it all, Kylo and Rey continue to navigate through their complicated feelings for one another as the Force connects them through their Bond. Once Rey finds out that Kylo and the First Order want to approach this primitive species for their Force abilities, she's concerned, in more ways than one, and will suggest to Kylo that they cannot shock or scare this isolated species into realizing that other intelligent life forms exist in the galaxy, also, Rey will eventually agree to join Kylo to bring balance to the Force because she doesn't want the First Order to have FULL control over this primitive species' Force capabilities without her influence of the Light Side!
