Driven by grief and guilt, you team up with a fellow handler to uncover and bring to light the company’s unethical practices surrounding the mysterious mers they keep on display. But what do you do when your search for the truth brings you face to face with two abandoned mers wasting away in the ruins of one of FazCo's old holding facilities? The mers are hurt and scared, but you are determined to make up for your past failure. You are going to take care of them, even if it kills you. And with two traumatized mers to contend with, it just might.

Summary
Two miles from Baywind Village is a series of hotsprings, connected by underwater tunnels. It acts as a safe space for you after long days of work, however, with each passing day you've felt as if being watched. You're eventually approached by a small group of merfolk. One wants to befriend you, one hates your guts, and the last would kill anyone if it meant killing you too.
You unravel mysteries and find the ghostly remnants of your past; all the while you're slowly sinking in the dark waters as an unforeseen relic of your past begins haunting you once more.

You have little qualms about this, since they’re paying a hefty paycheck for essentially doing grunt work for an animatronic seems to scare away everyone but children.You'd continue working alone like usual, get good money out of this, and make your father proud in one fell swoop. Simple, right?
Unfortunately for you, the Attendants don’t seem to be terribly fond of you. In fact, they want you out of their space for good.
And unfortunately for them, you’ll be staying there no matter what, danger to your well-being be damned.
