Summary
Knowing that he wouldn’t be able to walk through that cafe door and see her ever again bought on a sense of hopelessness and sadness that he just...didn’t know what to do about. But she was still there, she was still here. With him. He could fix this, he could pay her back, if his now beating heart would make her happy, he was glad he could make her happy, just as she had to him.
‘I..It’s...Ok. You can take it, t..thank you for....making me....happy.’ he managed to choke out.
‘....What? You...want me to take it? Why? I’ve lied to you to get your heart, I faked my personality, my blushes, my smiles, my laughs. Who you like isn’t me Denji.’ She said in a somewhat harsh tone but still bought the handkerchief that once veiled her knife up to his neck to slow the bleeding.
A rewrite of the Reze arc in which Denji gets attached a little too much and expands on his motto of 'getting killed by a hottie'.

Summary
I was struggling with the final chapter of Blood, Water, Gravestone and to take a break I decided to write this, I don't know if this will be a one shot in between chapters 3 and 4 but I might update this with more stories from this universe I guess you could call it, so reading my other work first if you haven't is probably recommended. After a well done devil hunting job, Aki decides to throw a small party deliberately ignorant of the consequences. Angel enjoys it though.
