It's been a good few years in Pelican Town for the local farmer Alfie. He's honored his grandfather's legacy in the quiet community and has come quite a ways in his camaraderie with the townsfolk-- despite it taking a few years. There's one man in particular though who caught his eye: Elliott. Paying special attention to the author, he still never worked up the courage to confess his feelings to the man. That is until during a summer day Alfie is struck by a storm at the beach-- with nowhere to go but to Elliott's cabin.
