Summary
Eöl was the original dark elf and so Maeglin can't recover in the Halls of Mandos, Aredhel can't leave the Halls without her son, and Turgon suffers of a broken family for three bloody ages. Tired of waiting for his beloved sister, Turgon has rallied the Finwëans and Fëanorians against Námo in a war of petition attrition. Námo seems to be throwing up his hands, so maybe let the elves handle their own... except Maeglin doesn't want any of it.

Summary
Tata was said to be the first of the Noldor to awaken at Cuivienen, yet the histories never speak of him again. Uncomfortable and indecisive as a leader, he nonetheless rejects the summons of the Valar to Valinor, recognizing a fundamental wrong in the ideas they preach. This is the story of his life.

If she closes her eyes and lets her imagination take her, she can imagine they’re in Sirion once more, Idril and her golden-haired son, and that he’s stepped outside- gone to wash the dust from his hair, that hair that he was always so particular about- that he’ll be back any moment, smiling that crooked smile that he inherited from his father.
