    It’s hard. Harder than one might think, especially with a story like his, because he has to picture what he looks like from his memories. It hurts to see human him smile so easily, to hold Koyuki’s hand, to laugh with Keizo. To watch him save instead of kill.

    What might hurt most, though, is that Akaza has nothing from the past. No clothes, no hair pin, no drawing, no tie, no nothing. It’s too late to try and get anything back. Too many years have passed.
