Summary
Your grandpa recently passed away, and in his will was his farm in a small getaway called 'Pelican Town'. It was a cozy remote island, you and your husband Tommy decided to go down and live our their fantasy of being farmers. When you got there, though, Tommy began acting slightly odd.
You spent months there and marriage became strained, with fixing up the farm, tending to animals and crops, all of the events you loved to go to, it all was too much for Tom. Secrets lie beneath the surface of your marriage.Though this all, a sweet boy, about your age, caught your eye. He had dyed purple hair and worked at the cheap market in town, he spent his night at the pubs, you noticed after going there almost every night. You took the same route home.
You two kept the distance for awhile, until you didn't. A friendship blossoms.
