Looking back, Sae realized that the problem had both started and ended with Michael Kaiser.
Kaiser had a stupid, easy smile on his face. “I’ve heard plenty about you already.”
“All good things, I hope?” Sae felt his own expression tighten. Who did this bastard think he was, getting so familiar right off the bat?
Kaiser shrugged. “Sure.”
And it really had just gone downhill from there.
