Summary
Every other generation, it seemed as though a Green kid was destined to save the farm in its time of need. It also seemed, with every other generation, that a Whistler was somehow involved.
Though, that fact would be lost to time, and wouldn’t see the light of day. The only remnant of that fact lied in the apple tree just outside of the homestead.
That… and a few letters found in the attic up above.
