Alicent Hightower died in 133 AC and woke up from a bad dream. Only that it was not a bad dream, but rather her past life.
Determined, Alicent wishes to avoid the Dance of Dragons and the heartbreak her father, Otto Hightower, inflicted upon her life and that of her children. But the timelines have changed. Viserys is not named heir. Aemma is sicker than before. The Old King and the Good Queen are alive.
How can Alicent stop the Dance of Dragons now? Will war come or peace will follow?
So... what if Alicent was half Targaryen? What if Ceryse Hightower would have had a daughter with Maegor, but kept the child a secret? What would happen if Daemon would marry a lady with Valyrian blood? How would Westeros change if Daemon was named heir at the Great Council?
Surprisingly, the Alicent Hightower she was born into, is no mere Hightower, but the great-great-granddaughter of Ceryse Hightower, with the blood of Maegor the Curel running through her veins.

Summary
Her father is determined to make her the next Queen of Westeros, pushing her to "comfort the king" during his time of grief. Alicent knows if his plan succeeds it'll cost her her best friend, so she comes up with a solution: she needs to have sex.
Daemon Targaryen is one of the only men at court who is whorish (and dumb) enough to deflower the Lord Hand's only daughter. Unfortunately for Alicent, it does not occur to her until afterwards that fucking your best friend's uncle is not much better than fucking her father. Now Alicent is scrambling for a way to tell Rhaenyra what she's done in a manner that won't ruin their friendship. It would be a lot easier if the sex had been a one time thing...

On a random spring day, in the early morning, Alicent Hightower fell from her horse after attempting to jump. The fall would render her unconscious for most of the day; her best friend, the princess Rhaenyra, was absolutely bereft, never leaving her side until she woke up. The lady Alicent was declared physically fit and recovered well, aside from one small issue.
