Summary
Six months ago, Renegade broke free from his master. He’d had no home. No family. Had learned nothing beyond what he'd needed to be a predator.
Now free, he has vowed to use those skills to help instead of hurt.Only Nightwing really shouldn't have picked Blüdhaven for his debut. The neighbors in Gotham are kinda... a lot.
Like, A LOT a lot.

Summary
“What,” Peter asks, curling his fingers tight enough around the honed metal that Caspian inhales sharply, “is the punishment for desertion, among your people?”
Caspian’s throat is very dry. The cut on his palm feels on fire.
“Death,” he replies, and his voice catches entirely on the word.
Peter says, “Well, then,” like an invitation, or a judgement, or the very last word, and when he looks up from the tip of the sword pressing into his jerkin, there is a desolation more complete than the northern wastes in his eyes.
(or, peter and caspian, seeking absolution in the aftermath of their folly.)

Summary
Caspian does not know when he first came about the knowledge—it’s something that’s simply been fact for so long that he cannot remember a time without it. What he can remember, is this:
The scar on his chin that has always been there, the ones on his arms and legs that stretch and warp as he grows. Complaining of a continuous ache in his knuckles, feeling cuts and bruises that were never there. His mother, fussing to make sure his arms are covered entirely by his shirt. Fascination, from a court physician, sworn to secrecy: I have not seen such a curse manifest in this way before. A bruising ache around one eye that lasts throughout his childhood.
He is a frail prince, even a weak one, who would rather listen to stories about the stars than practice duelling with smarting fists that always feel that they’re nursing the aftermath of a fight. He hears the whispers, and they weigh on his shoulders, but he does not complain: after all, it’s much better to be a frail prince than a cursed one.
