Or: an alternate version of the canon storyline, where Scaramouche and Aether form an uneasy alliance in Inazuma and unwillingly learn more about each other, leading them to grow closer than they ever intended.

Summary
Aether's relationship with Scaramouche was... interesting, per se. It was like his relationship with Childe; competitive and driven, a hate derived from the sides of war they've picked but no genuine hatred on a personal level. A friendship built from rivalry, one death threat after another... the only kind of relationship that Aether could have with anyone involved with the Fatui.

He decides that the perfect person to ask to move in is Scaramouche, who is less than pleased at the attention that the famous Traveler is giving him. It was never supposed to be any more than friendship.
