Summary
Maverick knew if he ever wanted to get far in his career. He had to push aside everything that made him an omega. That if he wanted to fly for his country, his second gender couldn't be a problem.
So now he was boarding on retirement, now he had fallen for his wingman. His omega had raised its ugly head and was starting to cause problems. Issues he had never faced before. So when the wingman he fell for, when Bradley tells him he's mated. Maverick doesn't expect it to hurt so much but he should have expected it.
