Summary
Writing Prompt: You’re a dragon that is cursed to change into a human every night. One day a knight comes to slay you, and imagine their surprise when the dragon they’re about to stab vanishes in a puff of smoke, leaving a defenceless human crouched in front of them.
Cináed the dragon was cursed by a witch many years ago to turn into a weak human at dusk every night. Elric, a young knight trying desperately to prove himself, has been tasked with slaying the dragon that resides on the hill above his village.

Summary
The gate is closing.
Dustin lands on the floor of the real-world Munson trailer, managing not to injure anything else this time, but he hardly notices as he sees the rift that has also split the world on this side begin mending itself. The roof and side of the trailer reform, sealing together as the vines and the very crack itself disappears. Looking back up, all Dustin can do is watch as the opening grows smaller and smaller.
"Steve!" he calls, helpless. "No, no, no, no!"
"It's okay!" Steve shouts back to him, even though Dustin knows that it isn't. "We'll find another way out! Get to Nancy and Robin!"
And the vines retreat into the ceiling as the gate seals itself, slicing the last of the hanging sheet in half and leaving almost no trace that a giant portal to another world was ever there at all.
*Or, Steve goes back for Dustin after everything and gets trapped in the Upside Down, alone with Eddie. But that is only the beginning.
This story is from Robin, Dustin, Steve, and Eddie's POVs, as they all deal with what happens now.
