Hermione stopped walking. Her eyes scanned back up the roster until they found the name that she initially mistook for a typo.
Draco Malfoy….Beater.
She could comprehend the words, the name and the meaning. She understood that his name being on the roster meant he was the starting Beater for England’s national team, but for whatever reason, when her eyes ran over the black ink, her brain could not articulate any emotions or reaction.

Summary
After many months of self-denial, Hermione receives an envelope of explicit photos of her and a one night stand she had four months earlier.
She could have ignored what seeing those photos made her feel, but the vile message attached that threatened to leak the photos to the press was the catalyst to accept the truth. Hermione has a stalker.
Her reputation had struggled in the last year, as well as some of her confidence.
When she seek's Harry’s advice, it is sad, but honest. The ministry is in turmoil as crime is on the rise and targeted muggleborn attacks are spreading. Harry suggests hiring a private investigation firm that he's worked with in the past and Hermione reluctantly agrees.
The P.I. handling her case is, none other than Draco Malfoy, the man in the photos from her one night stand.
As their path takes sharper and darker turns, Hermione and Draco have to risk their own secrets coming forth to keep each other and the rest of the ones they love safe.

“Tell me!” Draco said, cocking his head as he slowly came a few steps closer, wand drawn, ready to fight her if need be, “To what exactly do I owe the pleasure of your company on my estate? Came to gloat?”
“I…” Hermione took a step away from him, “I was wondering if I could see the drawing room.”
“Why?”
“To get used to it.”
“Why do you need to get used to my drawing room? Plan to set camp? Tell me, why the fuck are you really here?”
She shrugged and chose honesty, “I’m here because I have nightmares of this place. Because I dream of it weekly and I’m so tired of it. I want to get it out of my system.”
“Oh? Out of your system?” he asked cynically, “Well if it’s that easy. Go ahead. After you!”
