Sidon’s door burst open so hard he actually threw the book he was holding straight into the air and it clattered to his desk, his page lost. He turned toward the entranceway, startled. Link was huffing and puffing, one hand holding the door against the wall, and utterly soaked in blood. He looked furious and sunburnt.
“By the merciful Goddess- Link, are you okay?” Sidon cried, rising to his feet from his desk.
Link stepped forward and slammed the door shut behind him, before he stomped over to the corner he always dumped his things, and began dumping his things.
“Link,” Sidon repeated, “Is that your blood?”
Link shook his head as he wrenched his scabbard off his back and pitched it unceremoniously to the floor. He whipped around to face Sidon.
'Bed,’ he signed.

Daryl doesn’t know what it means or why it keeps happening–why he keeps letting it happen. He sure as shit doesn’t know why Paul started it in the first place.
He should put a stop to it, he knows that. Resolves it yet again: he’ll tell Paul to cut it out.
Another month passes, which makes it two months running that Paul’s been cornering him somewhere private so they can do… stuff. Stuff that leaves Daryl breathless and confused and euphoric and too embarrassed to say a single word about it afterwards.
That seems to suit Paul just fine. He doesn’t say a goddamn thing about it either, and hypocritically Daryl really wishes the goddamn hippie would take a goddamn minute to explain what in the goddamn hell it is they’re doing.

Iruka huffed and shook his head, lips thinning in a way that made Kakashi think he was holding back a grin. “You know, if I’d realized you had such a thing for long hair, I would have started wearing mine down years ago.”
Kakashi’s thumb caught the hair band, halting its revolution.
“Years?”

Summary
Alexandria is the safest place they’ve been since the prison fell, and while that’s all well and good, the lack of constant danger leaves a gaping hole in their lives which can be filled only by the emotional turmoil of their not-always-so-distant pasts. Add a sick Daryl to the mix, and it’s really no wonder Rick starts thinking that safe isn’t necessarily all it’s cracked up to be.

Daryl is a vision on all fours, Rick thinks. Upright and filthy, with a crooked sneer, he’s dangerous. Untouchable. Opinionated with just a thin narrowing of the eyes.
But here, lying prostrate, back muscles long and streamlined like a prowling jungle cat, Rick finds his bones aching from desire. There's no fear. No hesitation. None of the usual priority of matters that holds him back from this.
