Minako still remembers her mother's last words to her. They were begging her to keep Minato safe... Well, her actual last words weren't really words and more screams as the flesh melted off her bones, but who's keeping track, anyways? Minako doesn't know why things happened the way they did that night, or what that monster was, or the robot, or anything really, but she's going to find out no matter what.
When the opportunity arises for her to reasonably stay in Tatsumi Port Island again, how can she refuse? Maybe she's finally strong enough to enter that damn tower. Pharos told them it's a bad idea, but when has she ever listened to his advice?
OR: Minako remembers everything about the night her parents died, while Minato doesn't. What does this change? Quite a fucking bit actually!
