The air had gotten tense by the time Utahime-sensei left, and Yuuta found himself lost at what to do.
Kashimo just directed his glare towards him instead, as if it was somehow Yuuta’s fault that Utahime-sensei forced them into this strange pact. It’s not like he didn’t protest it, so Yuuta didn’t understand why Kashimo seemed to be blaming him.
Maybe it was because Yuuta was such a pathetic human being that made sensei feel so bad for him that she assigned him a personal guardian angel.
But perhaps the term guardian demon would fit better.

A JJK AU exploring what would happen if Hajime Kashimo were a modern-day sorcerer attending Jujutsu High instead of being an incarnated sorcerer like in canon.
I actually published this fan-fiction over two years ago, but I quickly got burnt out for a multitude of reasons, mainly trying to get chapters out quickly, which led to bad quality writing (in my opinion).
I thought about writing the story, but it always seemed too daunting. But with season 3 of the JJK anime around the corner, I thought now would be a perfect time to rewrite the story from scratch.
I can't promise frequent updates or even a second chapter. I plan to write just when I feel like it, but if this story intrigues you, please check it out.
