Summary
The Bonded Conduit AU explores a darker timeline of Season 1, Episode 10 of Dragons Rising season 1 part 1, where Lloyd becoming a conduit of the Source Dragons has potentially greater consequences than he, and those he loves, are ready for.
My inspiration first came from the scene where Lloyd powers open the portal using the Source Dragon’s energy, collapses right after, then is later magically recovered following a short timeskip. I noticed how the show seemed to glaze over the fact that Lloyd potentially nearly got killed by that energy, and I wanted to add my own stakes to this, alongside leaning further into the found-family dynamics between the ninja (I love the RGB siblings so much).
However, currently this isn’t planned to be an ongoing, complete story. So just think of it as a narrative I could expand on further in the future.
