Summary
Killua just doesn't want Gon to see him cry. Tears are a shameful thing, the first thing he learned how to hide. But the tears come anyway, and Killua's only been able to hide things from Gon for so long beyond he pulls them out into the light.
//
"It's funny, because by now Killua knows none of it's true. By now, he's seen Gon at his worst, he's watched that dream of a normal childhood dissolve even further, he's seen first hand how different they were. They split, they got back together, but Gon still hasn't seen Killua cry, and Killua intended to keep it that way."Bookmarked by AmyDoesStuff

Summary
“Never?” He repeated.
“What? Does that surprise you, Doc?”
Ratio tried to process everything, Aventurine just pulled the stem off of the cherry like it meant nothing, then it placed it between his teeth. “It’s not that groundbreaking, is it? I mean,” His eyes watched as it kept poking between his lips, before he continued. “If I just do it for work, then who really cares if I finish or not.”
“But Gambler,” He could feel himself get grey hairs because of him, “You do it all the time. For work.”
Aventurine shrugged, “I don't think I'm missing out much. Like, don't get me wrong. I’ve gotten close a few times but why waste my own time, yaknow?” Right as he finished speaking Aventurine spit the tied cherry stem into his martini glass. “I wouldn't want it becoming a bad habit now, would I.”
Or; Dr. Ratio helps Aventurine have an orgasm.

Summary
Killua and Gon had always been in tune with each other's emotions. They had been since the day they met, during the first stage of the Hunter Exam. Their friends had said it was almost like a sixth sense. A warning that one of them was veering into dangerous emotional territory. That fact had managed to help the two boys through more hard nights, bad dreams, and sour memories than either of them had ever cared enough about to keep track of. But even if they never acknowledged it, both boy's were more than aware of this. The day Gon finally shattered, alone, was just one example, but it was an example than made them realize just how much they truly needed each other. Especially after everything.
