    Summary

Sanemi wound his arms around Giyuu’s waist, holding him closer. “No one gets to tell us who to love, Giyuu,” he murmured against Giyuu’s shoulder before kissing a path up the side of his neck. He pressed his forehead to Giyuu’s temple. “They don’t get to choose for us.”
“Not even the universe?” Giyuu joked quietly.
“Not even the goddamn universe,” he returned.

    Summary

"Reiner lowers himself to the ground, sitting cross-legged amongst the rocks. He’s still facing out toward the ocean, hands settled in his lap, where he twines his fingers together and squeezes them tight. Jean can see the muscles straining for a few seconds, before he lets them relax.

Jean’s not quite sure what to make of the development, but it feels like a crossroads of sorts. He can turn back now, head to where his friends are surely seated around a campfire trading stories from the day, or he can sit his ass on the ground and begin to narrow the distance carved out between himself and Reiner.

The rocks are solid and unyielding beneath him as he sits down beside Reiner."

    or

Jean and Reiner sorting out their relationship post-canon, featuring heart-to-hearts, injury tending, and plenty of healing.
