Hiking in the woods just outside the school seemed to Jack like a surefire way to work out his calves and thigh muscles. There was also the added benefit of being in nature and feeling a sense of calm away from the chaos of NRC.
At least, that was how he felt until a chance encounter with someone he'd much rather not deal with then leads to more interesting developments.

Jade, for his part, had absolutely no ulterior motives when it came to his free time in the woods—unless, of course, one would call finding as many mushrooms as possible to take back to the cooks at NRC a motive—but that soon changes when a string of events has the Octavinelle Vice Housewarden looking at Jack a lot differently these days.

Summary
Tommy is a young nineteen-year-old boy who dies in an alleyway alone with no one to mourn him. Suddenly, his life turns upside down when he reincarnates into the novel world of The Ender Prince as Prince Theseus Craft, the third son of the Antarctic Empire and the first main antagonist of the book. With knowledge of the future, Tommy must act, lest he be executed.
The world is not as simple as was presented in the book. There is far more going on in the background of this world than The Ender Prince ever touched on. If Tommy wants to live- if he wants to be happy- he will have to fight to break his fate and the fates of the people he has opened his heart to.
Alongside Tommy's struggles through childhood, excerpts of The Ender Prince are shown, revealing the story of the book's original protagonist, Ranboo, who has lost all his memories and is searching the world for a purpose.

It’s so easy to kill humans.
Techno would know, since he does it for a living.
It’s very easy to kill them, scare them, chase them, crush their brittle little bones when his rot overtakes their bodies. That doesn’t mean it’s any less annoying when one starts messing with his hunting grounds.
Technoblade huffed through his snout and lumbered through the woods in the direction where he felt another human trash. He didn’t have a lot of time, so he intended for this one to be a quick snack for fungi and his brothers. It would be easy.
His steps rattled the earth, he wasn’t trying to be stealthy this time. It didn’t apparently matter because the human was completely oblivious to anything happening around him.
