Ian had smiled, that joyful and free grin only reserved to Anthony, and Anthony had smiled back. It was like the world had stopped to only let them in their little bubble for just a little while.
The last time before Ian would be snatched away from him, for good.

Today feels weird. Anthony feels weird. It doesn’t rain in LA, not in the way it does elsewhere, so Anthony usually enjoys that. It makes him feel renewed. Today it makes him feel heavy. Makes him feel like even the humid air is clinging to him, weighing him down.
He got benched. Anthony doesn’t get benched. The only person who can bench him is Ian because Anthony only listens to Ian, although even that feels closer and closer to breaking these days. There’s no contract between them other than the blood they’ve shed, their unequal balance, their strange and particular bond that has always been called odd or in some lost and dead voices that made a few too many mistakes: “weird, freaky kink shit.”
Well, they weren’t exactly wrong, to be fair.

Summary
They've done it. They've bought Smosh, reunited, starting making their sketch videos again, and it feels so fucking good. So, why can't Anthony just be happy about it? Because he's scared of fucking up, like all human beings do, as it's only human nature and it's bound to happen. Ian, it turns out, is more overjoyed that he has his best friend back at his side and back in the company they made together, than overthinking or letting his worries drown him. He just needs to help buffer out those anxieties, before he starts freaking out that he's going to lose Anthony once again.
Nature is finally healing, they both made this garden and it takes communication and care to keep it healthy, and possibly grow something beautiful and rare meant for them.
