Summary
Maekar Targaryen is the Anvil. Maekar Targaryen is but a widowed father of six. Maekar Targaryen never bend or break. Maekar Targaryen was on the edge of collapsing. When raven came with bad news and sent Maekar down a literal spiral, the terrible inconvenience of being cared might unfortunately be the thing he needed.
And as for Dunk, he just cared for his squire too much to really notice the boundaries he better not be crossing when standing up for the wellbeing of Egg’s father, but maybe him being slow as aurochs could do he some good this time.

Summary
Gods, he wants Maekar back. He misses his brother like a limb, now more than ever, now that it is made undeniable that they love each other still, and that they have loved each other for years. But he loves Duncan just as much, and he cannot right a wrong with another one. He cannot have Maekar back.
Baelor loves Duncan, and Baelor loves Maekar, and this is an unsolvable problem that everybody but him seems to already have found their own solution to – they just have to catch up with one another.
