There was a young girl in Dru’s arms, limbs limp. The first thing he noticed was her hair, the color of butterscotch, almost exactly like his. Dressed in ripped rags and her face all covered in dirt, it wasn’t hard to tell she’d most likely been living on the streets before Dru had picked her up.
