    This was indeed the village of Puqi, or was. The entire village was destroyed, trees burnt, houses abandoned and covered in moss.

Many years after the incident of Hong'er's death, a powerful crimson calamity leaves Xianle in ruins. Stripping Xianle of its wealth and fame, causing its residents to slowly die out.

    Xie Lian wakes up in said universe, one, with a splitting headache, and two, with no spiritual powers. It seems that in every universe, Xianle will always be led to its downfall.

    Се Лянь много раз задавал себе один и тот же вопрос: в какой момент он сломался безвозвратно? Было ли это в день, когда деревянный кол вонзился ему в сердце? Нет. Была ли это темнота гроба, наполненного собственной липкой кровью, что разрушила его? Тоже нет.
    Или это был момент, когда он впервые поймал на себе жадный взгляд Владыки? Или когда первый раз за неправильную реплику в разговоре он получил пощечину? Может быть это был день, когда руки Владыки впервые оказались под нижним слоем его одеяния и его обеты были разорваны (вырваны, смяты, выпотрошены и брошены в грязь)? Но чаще всего Се Лянь все же винил тот день, когда он сдался.

    Или: Се Ляня спасает из гроба Цзунь У, запирает в дворце и держит как пленника. Но Се Лянь в конце концов сбегает с помощью неизвестного союзника и оказывается в Призрачном городе, скрывая свое имя и внешность. Фанфик планируется как исследование восстановления после травмы. Будет много боли, но и хорошее тоже будет!

The only issue was that Xie Lian meets a person who doesn't seem to be taking no for an answer, and when he doesn't go away after that night, Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan have a week to deal with this before overprotective Hua Cheng comes home.

    Hua Cheng knelt at the end of the table to look underneath, and felt all the air in his chest whoosh out in shock.

    It was unmistakably Xie Lian, sitting crouched and hugging his knees to his chest at the far end of the table, but… younger. Much younger. Those big golden brown eyes blinked at him in fear. He bit his bottom lip as a tear rolled down his cheek, tiny body scrunching tighter around himself and his overly large robes. Hua Cheng figured he couldn’t be older than five or six.

    When an unknown curse hits Xie Lian and turns him into a child, Hua Cheng is happy to take care of him until they figure out what happened and how to reverse it.
