Summary
It was no secret that Dean had a thing for Cas, it never had been. But when he finally starts to open up and admits his feelings to Cas, Cas starts to behave differently. He seems quieter, sleeps more and suddenly starts to eat as well. And he seems to be uncomfortable with Dean being closer to him. Summary
When Dean Winchester didn’t present at 16, everyone thought he was a Beta. John Winchester wasn’t happy about it, because the only presentation that was acceptable for his sons was Alpha, but at least he wasn’t an Omega. But when Dean goes into a surprise preheat presentation in the middle of his math class, sparking a confrontation with John, he packs Sam up and gets them both out.
Moving to the middle of the suburbs with a kid brother and 30 bucks to his name wasn’t really in his plans but he was determined to succeed despite his secondary gender. The twin Alphas next door seemed to feel like he was missing something, too bad for them, Dean doesn’t need no Alpha.

Summary
Purgatory was an odd experience for Dean, not just because he was surprised to find out that Purgatory was an actual thing but because he wound up killing monsters and looking for his angelic best friend with said best friend’s former vessel. Getting out, it turns out, was the easy part. Between Cas’s disappearance, Jimmy’s identity crisis, Dean’s guilt, and Sam’s quest to shut the gates of Hell, they’ve all got more than enough to deal with, but of course nothing is ever that easy for the Winchesters. There’s the little matter of what remains unspoken between Dean and Castiel, and how it’s bound to change now that Jimmy’s here to complicate it all.
And of course, Heaven and Hell aren’t just going to let them deal with it all in peace, either.
