Summary
Sequel to Quantum AU and Snippets. CanonSam and CanonCrowley travel to the You Are The Third Winchester AU (they are not aware of the horrible name) to enlist help in tracking down Metatron and a missing CanonDean. Cue all sorts of angsty moments, action, and adventure, as Sam's main hope to save Dean centers on people who, for him, have been dead for years. Rated T.

Summary
Yes, yes, yes, YES, I know. There is a humongous portion of the Supernatural fanfic realm who think sister-fics are blasphemous, and essentially suck.
But...I like mine.
My premise is a self-insert sister, if you will, where she has personality and presence in the family, but she's just one character. She's a means to get at the canon characters, and interacting in ways we wish were explored on the show.
I argue that she fits in this verse, and you won't mind her at all. :)
Stories are usually told in her point of view, so first person, with a couple of exceptions for stylistic reasons.

Annoyed, Sam explains there are two versions of Dean when he's sick: "Dean 1.0 is kind of like a lost, miserable, whimpering puppy, while Dean 2.0 is cranky, pissy, and petulant. I'm not fond of either one, though 1.0 is generally more bearable than 2.0. That 2.0 can be a real son of a bitch."
And then they discover there's a third version.

Summary
Meta-comedy/drama set immediately post-4x18, The Monster at the End of This Book. Dean can't stop wondering why people would write gay porn about him and Sam. Research takes him to interesting places; re-reading novels for subtext, visiting message boards, and a really freaky place called LiveJournal. What he discovers is a sick fascination with fanfiction, more about gay sex than he ever wanted to know, and an even deeper obsession with understanding why people write this stuff. Meanwhile, they're hunting a mysterious monster that takes the form of a person's truest love to kill them slowly, the lines between fanfiction and reality are starting to break down, and they still have to stop Lilith and save the world.
