“And I don’t?”, Jayce says in a small voice that breaks Viktor’s heart in a million pieces.
“No- of course I care about you but-... I am doing this for you. I don’t want you to-” To what? Viktor doesn’t actually know. He thinks that Jayce will find someone better but he knows that if he says so, Jayce will come up with 10 different reasons why that’s not true. Viktor is mortified. He can’t look at him right now.
Jayce’s voice rings in his ears. “Just tell me how you feel.”
Viktor’s eyes flutter close.
