The Curse of the Bitter is the first episode of this fic.
Castiel and Dean receive a phone call from one of their police contacts; the department is dealing with a serial killer. With victims bearing strange, ritualistic sigils, they are forced to wonder if something supernatural is at play? As the duo begins their investigation, the physical and supernatural threats are eclipsed only by a lingering question: in a world they’ve already saved, what happens when some monsters refuse to stay quiet?
