It's colder than people think.
Yaknow, people say it's hot, and fiery, and sets your soul ablaze.
But what do they know?The vision is first to go as the hands wrap around the throat. It's slow at first, before tingly dots fill what vision is left. The only thing proving the world's existence is the vague sounds of the trees and the birds and the way the wind makes everything shift slightly. But even then, the sounds start fading too. Not as fast as vision, but the world seems to slow. It's easy to come to terms with it, it's like accepting it is easier than fighting. Why? Oh, who knows. But the end of this time doesn't feel all that bad in the moment after all.
