Summary
He didn’t mean for it to happen this way. Or, uh, any way, to be perfectly honest. He was ashamed enough it wasn’t the first time - god, it wasn’t even the second, which was kind of a freaking embarrassment, really. Not once, not twice, three times he’d let his self control break this badly.
Three frrreaking times.

Summary
He knew exactly what he needed to do, and it was too many things and he had no idea where to even start, let alone if he was capable of actually doing any of this. He had to get his life back together - take care of the apartment again, feed himself, go job hunting, ugh. Had to take care of Putunia, too, now. Figure out the legalese of doing so. Had a responsibility to the other Habiticians, too - make sure they were all settling back in all right. The Flower Kid had been the one to finally, properly help them, sure, but, uh. You know. Kamal felt a responsibility, after everything that had happened. He’d been the adult in the room, right? He hadn’t solved things when he was there, so the least he could do is try to make up for it now that they were all out.
…and Habit.
God, where to start with Habit.

…Wallus had been right about one thing. Whatever was wrong with Habit, it was more than Kamal was equipped to handle.
…he had to try though. God. He had to try. He’d never be able to live with himself if he just left the poor guy like this.
--
In which after-work drinks quickly spiral out of control, and Kamal is forced to confront just how in over his head he is with Dr. Habit... including the terrifying possibility that his crush isn't quite so unrequited.
