Summary
This fic take place in the human realm year of 2269, with a futuristic humanity however the boiling isles remain the same as we know it. In the human realm humanity has been overrun by the machines after a 6 years that worldwide war that ended 2 years ago, now this machines rule over earth young humans are to be reeaducated for the new world, the one between 12 and 35 years old are to be turn into cyborgs called Angels powerfull machines and the one above 35, considered to old, are to be terminated.
Luz has been turn into an Angel 3 years ago when she was 12, she is now Angel-122126, stationned in the ruin of Gravesfield. Her job is the recuparation of potential materials for the care of the younth and find potential object potentially dangerous for the environnement for later termination.
However when a little owl stole the materials and object she collected and start to chase she end up into an entire new realm separates from the rest of new order and cut from the netword now is her chance to wake up and claim back her body. Will she be able to recover from all that happened ? How will demons and witches react to this weird half human half machine ?

Dark, visceral, heart wrenching, soul destroying, yet freeing. . . These are the words that I would use to describe this story. This is not an entirely happy story far from it Earth has fallen the humans are all either dead or enslaved to the will of the machine! And poor little Luz was no exception ripped from her family and transformed into a cybernetic soldier without emotion, without will. . . Without MEMORY! Read along and watch as she reclaims her name, her will, her emotions, and her memories! All right now that I have finished my eloquent pitch for anyone who reads this to well, read this story onto my own thoughts so here we go. This story is wonderful written as a story however the author does not have the greatest grasp of the English language if I had to take a guess this is either their second or possibly third language and it does show. However... That does not subtract from the storytelling if you read between the lines and let your mind fill in the gaps/replace words as you read it is an amazing story. Now this story does touch on some very dark topics without going too far into spoiler territory one of the very first scenes in this story has Luz being forced to commit a terrible act one that would break most people and might be hard for some of you to read especially considering how much we all know and love this character. The story also does go on to talk about forced body modification child soldiers brainwashing and other fun topics. So among the more fun sides of the story we get lots of Mama Eda and good little brother King. We also see honestly some more mature versions of some of the other characters. However that might just be the writing style of the author I don't find to be a bad thing I kind of like it all in all I would highly recommend people read this, also author if you end up reading this bookmark good job I wouldn't mind helping tidy up the English translation a bit. However I think it would be kind of rude for me to leave a comment saying oh hey want me to fix your story! God I would and do sound conceited saying that here, yuck! ( Going back and editing this I almost removed the previous part ) In any case however with that all said and done I must say I am both dreading and looking forward to the next chapter as of writing this bookmark the next chapter's name is Understanding Luz and considering the content of this AU I don't think anyone going into her head is going to be coming out smiling. . . Sigh. . . I guess to whoever reads this I will see you, whenever.

Summary
Realization hits Amity like a ton of bricks in the face. “Luz…” she asks carefully, “Are you a human?”
Confusion passes over Luz’s expression. “Uh… yeah? What kind of question is that?” She asked with another small laugh. “What, did you think I was some sort of shape-shifting baselisk from the demon realm of something?”
But Amity wasn’t listening. This is bad, she thought, This is really, REALLY bad! Amity started to have trouble breathing. She went through a portal. To the human realm. A portal that had now closed. And given that that weird door was clearly portable, had a chance of never opening up in a location she could reach again in her entire life. She was stuck.
OR
Amity Blight, Student of Hexside and one of the most promising young witches in the boiling isles, finds herself trapped in the human realm. Luz comes across her in the woods, and invites her to stay at her house. This is the story of Amity's first look at the human realm, Amity and Luz's relationship, and most of all the ability to never lose hope, now matter how grim the situation may seem.
OR
Role-Reversal AU where, instead of Luz going into the boiling Isles, Amity wanders into the Human realm!

Oh my oh my oh my ooh myyy. . . There are only four chapters out right now however this story already has me hooked there's only been one story that I've come across previously that has had Amity as the main character and being the one sent to the other world. However that story had Amity as the human the whole blight family was human in that story, it was also written long before the end of the show. So finding a new Amity-centric AU with a similar premise just reversed has been a wonderful development. Not to mention the writing is high quality few to know major or even minor grammar errors that I can find and it feels like the author understands the characters from the show which can sometimes feel like water in a desert. You know, this is likely one of the most succinct bookmarks that I have made and if any of you who read my bookmark notes have learned anything it's that I can't have one of these without a ramble somewhere in it. And here it is the word of today is Bulbasaur if any of you read this bookmark find one of my comments in this story and reply to it with Bulbasaur I have no clue why I am putting this here outside of funny. Also I will not be rereading this to look for any grammar or spelling errors we shall let the voice typing lie where it falls.
