Hunter can't help but feel like he belongs to the demon realm in some way. And under the guidance of his new eccentric guardian, the boy learns the art of witchcraft in hopes of finding his identity. But there also dark secrets about himself that Hunter may not be ready for. What will become of the teenage witch?

Hunter felt his breaths going ragged as he stared down at the mess on the floor. They had knocked over a FULL BOOKSHELF. Before he could collect his thoughts and start cleaning, Ms. Noceda walked in. Hunters mind went blank.
She was here.
She could see the mess.
And she looked ANGRY.
Without thinking Hunter dropped to his knees, slightly in front of Gus and Willow.
"I'm sorry, Ma'am. This was entirely my fault. I am the adult here, and I take full responsibility. I except any correction method you choose. Please don't punish the others."
He waited in silence, head down, ready for whatever pain was coming.

Hunter returned to Belos after the events of Hollow Mind. His creator ensured that he knew that he was a created being, *his* created being, and therefore disposable.
And then the Emporer died. The Grimwalker still hasn’t wrapped his head around that, but he knows he isn’t safe here. Not without a clear purpose, rules, and his creator.

Summary
Three years have passed since The Titans awoke from hibernation and settled back into The Demon Realm. During this time, the realm's other inhabitants have gradually learned to accept these colossal creatures as a part of their reality and haven't had any problems sharing their home with them since these mighty forces of nature have chosen to remain dormant since Ghidorah's demise.
However when Godzilla, who hasn't been seen since Ghidorah's defeat, suddenly reappears and wreaks havoc across The Boiling Isles, the already fragile peace between witches and monsters is thrown into jeopardy. With their world and their very own survival at stake, Eda is forced to take drastic actions after becoming convinced that Kong may be their best chance to stop Godzilla.
Meanwhile, Luz and her friends are unexpectedly thrown on a perilous journey to prove Godzilla's innocence and reveal the true threat that has been provoking all of the alpha Titan's recent attacks.

Hunter Wittebane is a top student at NYU Stern Business school in the 90s — academically that is. Unfortunately, past trauma and social anxiety has kept him from succeeding in a way that his uncle — a mogul in the Christian Music Industry— finds acceptable.
Willow Park is also a senior undergrad (also at NYU) who manages the flower booth at her fathers’ four bodegas (Parks on the Park). As graduation approaches she has hoped to get accepted into a competitive Masters for Environmental Science -- during the day that is.
At night she’s the singer/bassist for the underground punk band The Emeralds.
When Hunter messes up the last of many disastrous interviews for a summer internship, he stumbles into The Owl House, a famous East Village rock club, rained on and desperate to find a payphone.
What he discovers is the key to his past, present and future.
And maybe even a chance at love.

Hunter believes he can finally leave his past behind to create a normal life for himself. Wishing he had his first friend to talk to again, he starts writing letters to Flapjack. He starts his first term of school, spends quality time with his friends, and avoids thinking about everything that came before this moment. Who cares that he’s a grimwalker or that he was the evil emperor’s right-hand-man or that he’s always staring at other witches’ palismen? None of that matters. The past is in the past.
