    When Shen Yuan dies, cursing the disappointing ending of Proud Immortal Demon Way, he wakes up to find himself inside the story, as a demon NPC. Which is pretty cool, as far as transmigration experiences go! The only problem is that his character is trapped in the form of a dragon-like beast, alone in a half-ruined castle. But he adapts, keeping to himself aside from one quick trip to the human realm that triggers a minor plot deviation with major consequences.

    After that experience, Shen Yuan retreats into solitude again… until the Immortal Alliance Conference, where he decides to intervene more intentionally in Luo Binghe's fate. After taking the young protagonist under his wing, however, he’s surprised to learn just how much the story has already diverged from its origins.

    And he and Luo Binghe are both surprised when the Bai Zhan War God, Liu Qingge, tracks them down—determined to ‘rescue’ the disciple who once saved his life.

    (A Bingliushen story, vaguely inspired by Beauty and the Beast.)

    Set after the ending of the SVSSS novel.

    Liu Qingge sees how happy Shen Qingqiu is in his marriage to the demon lord. He knows the battle for the Qing Jing Peak Lord's heart is lost but he cannot help but promise to be there for his shixiong should he ever need him.

    Then a mysterious rift opens up and a familiar voice calls for help, Liu Qingge dives into a new world and finds a man named Shen Yuan. Trapped in a world without cultivators, Liu Qingge must depend on this strangely familiar mortal if he ever wants to return home.

    (Basically, post-canon LQG reverse transmigrates to a modern world and meets Cucumber-bro. Shenanigans follow.)

    Shen Yuan wakes up. There are two people in his bed. This is less concerning than the blade pointed at his throat.

    He sits up in alarm, almost decapitating himself. Luckily, the person holding the sword moves it away, leaving him unharmed; the pillow that he throws at the sword in instinct falls to a more dire fate. Cheap batting spills from the two halves of it as it drops, lifeless, to the bed. Shen Yuan scrambles to the other side of the bed as best he can, tangled in the sheets, and knees the third person in the side in the process.

    Luo Binghe makes a winded hooph sort of noise, and jerks upright, majestic hair falling everywhere. His robes are draping open; Shen Yuan is seized with the instinct to bury his head in that stacked chest like an ostrich in the sand. Maybe wrap the robes around his face so he can’t see what’s going on. Luo Binghe will protect him, right? He counts as a harem member now, he should have all the dubious privileges that entails!
